Dental Insurance and Finances

The staff at CMDC know that patients feel most comfortable when they have all of the information possible before a dental procedure. At CMDC we happily accept assignment. This means that we are happy to help you understand your dental insurance plan and help you maximize your benefits. We are happy to bill your dental insurance company on your behalf and accept their payment directly. For co-payments or balances we offer several convenient payment options:
    -Cash
    -Credit Card: Visa, Mastercard
    -Interac Direct Payment

Please bring your dental insurance information and Alberta Health Care Card to your first appointment. If you have a spouse/partner with dental insurance bring this as well so we can apply dual benefits to your dental care.  We can help de-mystify the dental insurance process to ensure you receive your maximum benefit. Please remember that dental insurance policies are intended to cover some, but not all, of your dental care costs. Benefits change from plan to plan. We can help you understand what your plan covers.

For patients without dental insurance benefits, we require payment in full at the time of treatment.

Dental Appointments

At CMDC we are committed to seeing patients in need in a timely fashion. Walk-in patients and new patients are always welcome. We understand that dental emergencies are a fact of life and we will do our best to accommodate you if you find yourself in discomfort.

We are open for both morning and late evening appointments in order to provide accommodation to all schedules.

Convenient reminders are sent out two weeks and 1-2 days prior to scheduled appointment times. Please let us know which contact modality best suits your needs (email, phone call, text message). Although we will make every effort to contact you before any appointment, it is your responsibility to keep track of your scheduled appointment. If you would like to reschedule your appointment we would be happy to accommodate you. Please allow as much notice as possible to avoid last minute cancellation fees. Because we value your time we do not double book our clients. Your appointment is a valuable time that the doctor has reserved specifically for you. Cancellations require two business days notice.
